HI,
Trying to fix parents pc from out of state :/
Dad permanently delete files (trying to "cleanup").
As a result his IE browser will not hit any https \ SSL sites (i.e... yahoo
mail after logon page, www.fidelity.com, bank sites after login page,
etc...), returns DNS failure page. All other browsing is fine.
HOWEVER he is able to get to his yahoo mail via yahoo console, etc... only
the IE browser is messed up.
**I have gone thru ALL of the microsoft troubleshooting steps from MANY
different KB's (via remote assistant access). Have tried different\new user
profile, have reset IE settings, cleared temp. files \ cookies \ SSL state,
have re-registered ALL .dll's, have installed XP SP2 & ALL other updates....
still no luck.
Are there certificates I can re-import from somewhere? or maybe re-install
cert. services, SSL related files, etc...

All suggestions appreciated,
