Why do you think you need two executables with different names? The
solution to your actual problem is probably something quite different.
How about telling us what the problem is?

I need two IEs with different executable names (don't ask why).
Therefore I have copied iexplore.exe to my desktop and renamed to
ie.exe. It just works fine for pages in the Internet. However, when I
try to open local pages (i.e. http://localhost/somepage.asp etc.) IE
shows strange behaviour. Generally it just does not load the page.
Sometimes the page is loaded but as soon as loading is finished IE
closes itself. Renaming back to iexplore.exe solves all problems.
