By "pick/mark" do you mean highlight? If so, place your cursor just past
the end of the URL and the use the appropriate arrow key to move to the
end of the word you want to highlight. Hold the shift key doen and use
the arrow key to move to the other end.

Hi
I often have to mark out only one word in an urlstring. This can
occasionally be very tricky even with a steady hand without opening the
link.
Let say I have this link
http://www.speedguide.net/reviews.php?category=32
I want to pick/mark the word "reviews" in the above url. But every time
I but the cursor on the link it turns into a hand! I have tried holding
down the Ctrl key Alt key etc to get the Text tool. But that's the
wrong ones.
I have been using to right click - copy link address for year. I was
just wondering if there is anything new on the rather small problem
