Hi. This message is for M. Doucet and Alan Edwards.
Yes, I will keep in mind right-clicking the link. But I also want to say
that that I figured out how to do it using Alan's way. I restored MP3 and
WAV files to their default settings. Then I checked in the boxes Alan told
me to. Then I went back and changed the default media player for those file
extensions to Real. Now when I click the link I get the prompt. furthermore,
if I choose to listen to the link instead of saving it, it opens with Real
and not Musicmatch. Thanks a lot guys. Now I can finally get to the real
work!

Right-click the link and select "Save Target As," then save them to your
My Music folder.

Hello,
I'm getting into nature songs. However, when I click a link to one, they
are automatically downloaded to my temporary internet files folder. Once
in there, they are difficult to find as I have thousands of files stored
there. My goal is to be able to download these files (mp3, wave, au,
etc.) and same them in my My Music folder, with an eye to send them to my
library in Real. If you have followed me this far, I would like to know
if there's any way to change IE 6's settings so that some files are not
downloaded to the temporary internet files folder.
I would also like if, once I download these files, will I be able to
listen to them if I delete them from the temporary internet files folder.
it is really confusing in that some of these files, when you check their
properties, are shown as being saved in either a URL (that is, a remote
computer) or a media program like Musicmatch or Real. All I want is to
get these files stored in my My Music folder so I can have both quick and
permanent access to them. I would really appreciate any information you
could give me towards this end.
Jay
