No, the question was not about typing problem (by the way 'bad
influence plugins' are being collected here:
http://RusWin.net/IEinput.htm ) - the question was
about first option seen in Tools/Options/Fonts - whic has really
nothing to do with the problems - I think, you were right stating that
"Auto-select" encoding is the cause -
he should UNcheck it to get rid of

....... several signs on
web-pages are Russian-like and very unusefull to read..

As for this:


The language script in Internet Explorer 6 is changed into "cyrillic".
I've tryed to change it into "latin-based", but every time when I turn back to
control it, it is again "cyrillic".
