I am running Internet Explorer 6.0 and my home page is the font and size I
like but ever time I go to another page the font and size is of the page
changes with every website I visit. Sometimes the font is so small I can
not see the text and the page does not take up the whole page.
Does anyone have any suggestions.
Can you post some URLs for example sites?
Most likely the problem is that the sites are using styles and tables to fix
the page sizes and font sizes. Many sites will fix the page with to
something common like 600pixels (800x600 is pretty much the lowest common
resolution in use) so that it renders with the same layout on all browsers,
and on a higher resolution (say 1280x960) these will have large gaps down
each side. Also if you have a high resolution setting then fonts will appear
small - did you write your home page yourself? If so I'm guessing you
adjusted the font to a size you find suitable, but on a lower resolution
screen will appear huge. Also check that your IE text size is set to Medium
(View menu, choose Text Size, and make sure Medium is selected) - if it set
to less than medium then text sizes will appear smaller than intended on
sites you visit.
