Re: Need to find MS05-046 HELP

Windows Update should be the place to go and perhaps your security
suite is incorrect if your system is up to date?

You can get it here:
Microsoft Security Bulletin MS05-046
Vulnerability in the Client Service for NetWare Could Allow Remote
Code Execution (899589)

You might study these old posts as there seem to be a number of Panda
users getting the same message for this old update.

I keep getting a "Vulnerability Found" from my security suite. It states a
vulnerability has been found on my computer which can cause a virus to enter
and exploit my computer. It says I need to update my Internet Explorer
Browser.

I have IE 6 & srv pk 2 on Windows XP Home
The update needed is MS05-046, which I can not find.

I have searched extensively in the knowlege base to no avail. I am concerned
as just today a nasty trojan tried invading my computer. My security suite
managed to catch it four times today, all within moments of each event.

I have Panda full security suite. Very strong program, first manufactured
only for businesses.

I was instructed to go to Windows Update to fix this vulnerability. I did
and not one update is available. I am confused with these updates as they
have two names or labels for each seperate update. Numbers and then the
MS....

I know I don't have the proper update, otherwise my security suite would not
be notifying me that I do not have it.

I hope somebody out there will know what this is and how to find it.

Thank you in advance for all assistance I receive on this issue.
