Hi Frank,

Yes, I can understand how stripping browser version can stop sites from
working that sniff user agent string.

In all honesty, its not necessary to hide such things. Sure, hide IP
address if you wish, but browser version and things like that are harmless
information and help site owners optimise their sites for the most common
browser versions in use.
