Re: java doesn't work

Hi,
Recap... Java works. Javascript works. The latest/last version (3810) of
MSJVM appears to be installed. Java chat apps won't work.

Internet Options> Advanced> put a check by Java (Sun)- uncheck MS VM. Try
one of the troublesome sites. Then try the opposite. Uncheck Java (Sun.)

Internet Options> Privacy, as a test, try the slider at Low or Accept All
(cookies.)

Try clearing the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content when that dialog pops up) Set the cache
(Temporary Internet Files folder) at 50-60 MB.

Go to http://www.fiddlertool.com/useragent.aspx Copy and paste the headers
info into reply.
Example:
Connection=Keep-AliveAccept=*/*
Accept-Language=en-us
Host=www.fiddlertool.com
User-Agent=Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; Win 9x 4.90;
MyIE2)
Type = IE6
Name = IE
Version = 6.0
Major Version = 6
Minor Version = 0
Platform = Win98
Is Beta = False
Is Crawler = False
Is AOL = False
Is Win16 = False
Is Win32 = True
Supports Frames = True
Supports Tables = True
Supports Cookies = True
Supports VBScript = True
Supports JavaScript = True
Supports Java Applets = True
Supports ActiveX Controls = True
