It may be no comfort, but I'm in the same mess, ie red x for any active
picture (like counters), messages about Javascript being disabled.
Also Trying to use Adobe on-line help file, I had to click on a bar which
came up saying "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has
restricted this file from showing active content that could access your
computer. Click here for options" - one of which is "allow blocked content".
The index and search features of the help file are not available without
"allowing blocked content"!
I've done the registry check and its all OK. I'm on default security
settings for IE. I'm sure this did not happen when I installed SP2.
I recently downloaded Sun Java runtime ver 9 (whatever that is) on request
from a Nero upgrade.
I'm lost! Anyone got a fix for this?
