Thoughts..
Is javascript enabled? (Javascript and Java are really two different entities, the latter a programming language, and the former used often in HTML)
I have absolutely NO idea! How do I check? I always just assumed "javascript" was evidence that Java was percolating!
..both use NAV and Norton Firewall..
Are these both firewalls? Generally running two firewalls is frowned on. Is the XP firewall active too? Check each for JS blocking.
No - NAV is Norton's AntiVirus. I DO have Windows Firewall OFF. Would the AntiVirus have any impact on this?
Thanks for the tips... I will try looking in the Firewall for JS.

Check Custom Level and see if Active Scripting is enabled.
What Active scripting is enabled, what is set to prompt and what is disabled?
