Re: Import Bookmarks from a file in HTML

Hi,
As I have already said that after exporting the bookmarks to my D-drive I formatted the C-Drive so what to export? Tried to place a copy of the contents of the folder (containing favoriets/bookmarks exported before formatting which is an HTM document) into the favorites folder but with no success.
Regards.

Hi,

Well, I guess the file is not valid...

This is what you can do:
- export them again
- or copy the particular shortcuts (.url files) directly.
The Explorere Bookmarks are all contained in the folder Favorites - under
the Documents and Setting {User Name} folder .........
Copy the contents ofthat folder (the contents, not the folder itself).

Kind regards

I have a bookmark file that I exported to my D drive from my C Drive
some time back.
I want now to import it to my favorites in the IE6. When I do it finally
it says "not a valid bookmark file".
Please guide as to how I could add the file to my Favorite in the IE.
Thanking in advance.
