On some web sites I am unable to see buttons that provide links or actions. I have tried various setting changes, but I am not sure IE is even the problem at this point.
For example, on an Adobe website I am unable to see the shopping cart or a button used to download software.
I am using IE 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2, running XP Pro, have McAffee installed. Can anyone provide me with suggestions?

Do you have either the Microsoft VM or the Sun Java Runtime installed?
Some buttons are Java applets and won't display (or work) if Java is not installed. Do you have a URL we can test?
