How many of those sites did you visit and read?

Upgrade to XP Pro include complete virus cleaning. I also ran EZ AV, Pest Patrol and AdAware. As I said, found no spyware or malware. Happens on all sites, including this one.

Now IE hangs on opening web pages, even if pages were opened OK on last action. Either action will hang up or nothing at all happens. Also, in one case, when opening site where a site search was done, re-opening site retained information from previous search. Happens on all sites, including this one. Previous system W98 and have other XP versions, both of which worked/work fine.
Have done spyware and virus scans. As they were clean, this does not
appear to be the problem. Also turned off firewall, turned off
pop-up blocker and and lowered security setting. This does not help
either.
This is ridiculous! Need resolution ASAP in simple English, please.
