Hi Keejan :-)
Try the following and see if it helps:
Cannot browse certain websites http://www.dslreports.com/faq/10082
or..
Go to the following and open with Notepad, C:\WINDOWS\HOSTS (the one with no extension (not the .SAM one) then delete any listing reference for the site you are trying to open. Then Save and close.
If you have Zone Alarm, you might also check the Trusted area there too: http://castlecops.com/postt79691.html
and...
Clear your TIF and History completely: http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
Check your Cookies folder and delete any cookies that relate to the sites in question.
Check your C:\Windows\Hosts file as per this article: Problems Using Internet Explorer with Incorrect Hosts File http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q219843
also..... try adding the site to your Trusted Zone.
Tools>Internet Options>Privacy tab Click Sites. Enter your the site you want to access and click Always Allow:
...and add it to your Trusted Zone:
Tools>Internet Options>Security tab Click the green Trusted Sites in the window Click the Sites button. Enter your the site you want to access and click Add Ok out and close IE
also...
Try renaming the hosts file. There may be something in your Hosts file that is blocking these sites and preventing them from being loaded.

How to check HOSTS file
Windows/host (it will not have an extension, and if there is more than one, choose the one that says Application in a column to the right) . Right click on it and select Open with.....when the window opens, scroll down the list to Notepad. Once it opens in Notepad, scoll down the list to see if that site is in the list. If so, DO NOT delete it, just go to the very front of the line to the left and enter # in front of the line so that it looks similar to the one below, as the entries with # in front will be ignored.
# Entries with other comments are searchable via Google.
Then click the save button and close. Then try the site again.
Hope this helps.
