What happens if you set History's View by site (Ctrl-h,Alt-w,i)
navigate to My Computer (e.g. type my), then press Menu,D?
Note: I haven't tried this myself since I have no interest in not seeing
local files in the AutoSuggest list but it seems like a logical place to start.
However, also note that MS has already published a KB article which
implies that we shouldn't expect too much generality from the Delete
function in the History bar.
