Msvcrt.dll access denied

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry



In reading your instructions to fix damaged msvcrt.dll files by
renaming them in DOS Safe Mode, I have repeatedly been denied access
with the message access denied file in use. Is there any other work
around suggestions for I'm very stuck.
