Additional suggestion: Go to Internet Options> Security> Internet Zone, set
it to Default.

Reregisters 2 DLLs necessary for IE to run Javascript.

Thie reregisters other DLLs- a repair (of sorts) of IE. Scroll down to the
"Resolution" section.
