Never too old to learn. Never had a Win2K so this is uncharted territory for me. Why IE would act differently is beyond me, but I'll make a note of this.

On my Win2K machine, the "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts" option is checked, and it does just that. Clicking a link causes the new page to poen in the same window. However, holding down the shift key while clicking, or clicking on a shortcut which contains the /n option, opens a new window as expected.
