Whenever I am on a specific website, I have the option to click on a button
to select all of the items displayed, or I could manually place a checkmark
next to each item desired. Since I want all items, I click the Select All
Items button, then all options are checked. Once I click the Next button, I
get the following error:
Microsoft Cursor Engine error '80040e21'
Multiple-step operation generated errors. Check each status value.
/HHCompare/Include/incHHAHelper.asp, line 502
If I manually click all 6 items, I get the same error after clicking next.
If I only click 1 of the 6 items, I do not get the error. I am able to bring
up this website at another computer and successfully click the Select All
Items button and Next without errors. I have looked at Microsofts and
Google's websites, but not much luck. I tried to install MDAC 2.8 per one of
the help screens, but it says it's not supported. I have XP. I also installed
Jet Direct 4.0 per another suggestion; didn't help. I've run all available
Windows updates and that hasn't made any difference. Any suggestions would be
appreciated. Thanks.
