Re: Does IE6 cause changes in Windows "Save Settings" operation?

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

As I said, the string (technically, it's not a key, but a string) was
missing. Indeed, I did a search of the entire registry, and the string was
not present under ANY key. If it were there, I would have known to delete it
or set it to zero.

Should I add the string and set it to zero? Or is there something else I
should do? Am I the only one who has found this issue on installation of
IE6? If so, why would I find the same problem on two different computers
using two different operating systems?

Thanks very much for trying to help. I would appreciate some more help, if
it's available.
