Asking why is also not a fruitful approach. There may not be an answer, other than it doesn't because that's the way it was written. Asking how you can get around the problem might prokove a more useful answer, but I suspect that if anyone knew how to do that, they would already have volunteered the information.
I guess so.. is this aspect of IE going to improve in the future? it's really a pain for developers.. thank you...

why does IE not reload applets? this is absurd.. I compile an applet and have to load it about 10 times before IE will reload it.. (and that after closing all open IE windows and clearing out cache a number of times..) why does IE have such a problem w/this????????
