Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

That is the page I am getting everytime I click IE. This is the address when
IE is activated ...
"res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\shdocvn.dll/errorAPI.htm#ID=PX8594;" I have no
idea what happened although I did go to some web sites for gaming and got
nailed with all kinds of porn pop ups and my Norton Anti Virus 2005 and Anti
Spyware (Beta 1) programs went crazy detecting everything. I was flooded with
viruses and spyware. I have ran a few spyware scans and the program is
telling me I am clean but I still have this page coming up. I even tried to
reinstall IE6 but that didn't help either. I know this has got to be some
pirate softwere because it gives me a link to download software that would
"resolve this problem." Has anyone seen this before? And if so, how do I get
rid of it?

Also, I couldn't access my Task Manager either until I googled the error
message and found out how to fix the registry entry to (0). But it still pops
up everytime I reboot it still locks me out of my taskmanager.

Please help!

Thanks
.
