Web Site Loading Extremely Slowly... Other Sites Time Out

Hi,
I am about ready to give up on this problem. I am hoping someone can point
me in the right direction. I actually think I have several problems, but,
I'll focus on one, and see if its solution cures the second.
I am trying to access the site Newsoftinc.com. When the browser window
opens, it shows "(26 items remaining) Dowloanding picture http...." in the
status bar. It either takes a long time to load, or never loads all of the
information. I am doing this on my main system, connected to a wireless
router which in turn is connected to a DSL modem. I can access most other
sites, there are only a few that I am having trouble with. The system is
running Windows XP Pro, SP2.
I have another system running Windows XP Home, SP2, which is connected to
the DSL modem wirelessly through the router. When I type in "newsoftinc.com"
the page loads almost immediately.
I have compared setting between the two systems (advance, security, and
privacy) and made them identical with no success.
I have also reset winsock and performed the procedure for registering
urlmon.dll.
(One other buggy problem involved a message boards for ACT! by Sage and
Adobe. I can be following a thread and when I attempt to move to the next
page, or read a particular message, or write a message, the window will time
out before I get to where I'm going.)
I hope this makes a little sense to someone who may have seen something
similar.
And just to clarify... I run the most current versions of Adaware and SpyBot
daily, and perform a full system scan for viruses twice a week. I am also
running the beta version of Microsoft Anti Spyware.
Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.
Jeff
