IE 6 SP 1 java issue

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

When I click on a particular link, I receive "page cannot be displayed".

In the address bar is:
javascript:gen_open_win("https://secure.none_of_your_business.com/members/index.php?u_fuse=member_login","Member_Services",fs_mem_svcs);

I can reach the link, successfully with Firefox.

Problem began after I applied the latest "critical" Win 2000 SP4 & IE 6
updates.
