Safe ActiveX control?

I have a PC running XP Home SP2 and connect to the Internet via a DSL
modem. I enjoy viewing Internet webcams, particularly those with streaming
video. On several of those sites, they require an ActiveX control called
AXISCamControl, by Axis Communications. Is this a safe ActiveX to install?
