Cannot launch Mail from the Browser, whether from icon or menu.

New laptop with XP SP-2 and IE 6 straight from Dell. Using Outlook
2003, which is the default. All e-mail accounts have been configured
and are working. All settings are exactly the same as laptop I will
be replacing (it is still operational; I am running simultaeously as
I install all programs and configurations).

Did I miss something? As a looong-time user, this one stumps me.

To set Outlook as the default mail client,- Go to Start, Run - Type in the following with quotation marks and press OK
"C:\program files\microsoft office\office\outlook.exe" /checkclient
