Re: Uninstalling IE7

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

I've recently installed the beta from ms.com and now I really have to uninstall it and revert back to IE6!

I've tried add/remove programs but it only reinstalls IE7 again.

I've also tried running the IE6 setup again, but it says that a newer version is already installed.

I'm running XP and I won't be able to use rollback now as it's been installed for a week or so already.

Does anybody have any ideas on this?

Thanks,
Lee.

did you create a restore point before installing IE7,
i did and was able to revert back to IE6 after
a few days with IE7 using system restore
.
