RE: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7 experience?

I (stupid as I am) just installed IE 7 Beta 1 on my system.
I thought the uninstall or system restore would help me out in case of
emergency.
During install the setup raised an error about no rights (I'm using my own
account which is an local administrator and a domain administrator)
The only option I had was OK, so I continued and installation stopped.
If I now try to run IE then I get the message "The procedure entry point
InternetGetSecurityInfoByURLW" could not be located in the dynamic library
WININET.dll"
So I tried to uninstall IE 7. The uninstall says: "Internet Explorer cannot
be uninstalled from this user account. Please log on to the same use account
from which it was installed and try again." I never used another account than
my own, so this is a problem. I tried uninstalling from the local
administrator account, same message!
A new install doesn't work, it says that I have to use the control panel.
I tried a System restore. It says, that it is possible, but after running IE
7 is still on the system.
So even if I want to use IE ... I have to use Firefox from now on.
If anybody has a clue......
