open search items with left click.

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

hi, when i do a web page search and do a left click the page will not open.
when i do a right click on the same item and 'open in new window', it will
open the page.

it did not used to do this. any advice on how to open items with just a
left click please?
