Re: A toughy.

RATS!! It still hung up on send and cleared the top panel. Do I ignore all those warnings and using add and remove just delete the darned thing? And you can see the fragmented lines.

Don't I remember reading that M$ was coming out with a completely new version soon?

A test. I reloaded sp2 again as a last resort. This will tell the story.

I considered deleting sp2 but the list of warnings of things it would screw
up talked me out of it so I'm trying this again. The reload took a long
time and this is a fairly fast machine so maybe it fixed something. OK,
here goes. [g]

Try this.

Go to OE tools, options, send (news plain text send settings). Select MIME quoted printable and test.

OK, I selected it and it wasn't before. I get the same results on my email
posts also and HTML doesn't even have the MIME option. Anyway, here it
comes. You guys have been extremely helpful in trying all sorts of cures
but I think it boils down to Jan's remove the darned thing and reload it.
It's a nice rainy day here, it's nice because we were needing the rain, so I
may get with it this afternoon. I'm a die hard, I still like OE better than
thunderbird. :)

This is interesting. It isn't fragmented and I didn't use the version with the OE-QuoteFix. That may have been the problem. (For this one bug). Thank You.

I have always used HTML for my personal posts and the HTML doesn't seem to have that option. Bug 2.

Bug 3. It still clears the subject window and hangs up there although it is apparently sending the message. Click *any* other directory in Local Folders and then go back to the one you sent from and although it starts at the top of the messages, you can scrawl down to where you were before the 'send'.
