Try this.
Go to OE tools, options, send (news plain text send settings). Select MIME quoted printable and test.
OK, I selected it and it wasn't before. I get the same results on my email posts also and HTML doesn't even have the MIME option. Anyway, here it comes. You guys have been extremely helpful in trying all sorts of cures but I think it boils down to Jan's remove the darned thing and reload it. It's a nice rainy day here, it's nice because we were needing the rain, so I may get with it this afternoon. I'm a die hard, I still like OE better than thunderbird. :)

Just for you this is in OE.
I have had sp2 since it came out. I'll keep talking just to get enough
lines to see if this paragraph fragments even though I'm just about talked
out on the problem. This is the time for all good men to come to the aid
of
their country. Maybe this will fragment but I have no idea until I send
it.
by the way, in case the first line is chopped it is Hi Sandi. That is
sometimes missing.

I don't like it as well as OE but if you noticed how my posts had sentences fragmented, OE was doing that. It also screwed up my screen each time I hit "send".
The quoting problem of which you speak is fixed in XPSP2... but it is dependent on using the correct encoding option when composing replies, youalso the encoding of the message to which you are replying - repairing OE/IE will make absolutely no difference in such circumstances UNLESSare running XPSP2 and the following line does not appear in yourheaders, thatand you are set up properly:
X-RFC2646: Format=Flowed; Original
Also, you have no control over any bad quoting that already exists in a reply. I'd like to see headers your copy of OE generates, but to doyou would need to post to this group using OE running using yourpreferredsettings.
