Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi Randy :-)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Be sure that IE is the default browser.
Open Control Panel> Internet Options> Programs.
Check the "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default
browser" check box.
Click OK.
Start IE and when you are prompted to make it the default browser, click
Yes.

or............

Go to Start>Run and type in regsvr32 urlmon.dll
Then click ok
Then open Internet Explorer and go to
Tools>Internet Options>Programs and
click on 'Reset Web Settings...'
Try the hyperlinks again

Hi,

When I am on a site and I click on a hyperlink to another website it will
not display the page. An example of this is when I am on slickdeals.net and
I click on a hyperlink to another site that is offering a deal such as dell's
website. It times out and cannot display the page. This happens on many
types of sites. I try to do this on other PC's to see if the problem is with
the websites but I can get it to work on other PC's that have the same
config. that i have. Is there a setting or something that can help me out.
Thank you.
