Animated Gif's do not work

Animated Gifs do not work on my computer, have checked - Internet Options -
Advanced Tab - Play animations.
Been to other sites with animations and they are still.
My laptop works fine with the same system, checked settings by comparison
and have not found any difference.
Can anybody advise?
