Hi,
I was hoping someone could offer me some guidance as I try to troubleshoot
why IE6 Service Pack 1 is not functioning properly for me. I discovered that
I could not access Windows Update after java features in a website I try to
visit did not work.
The website is suppose to be able to run with IE5 or higher, and I am
running IE6. Basically, I hover over a tool bar and a list is suppose to
come up. This list appears in firefox, but not in IE, like it is suppose to.
When I try to access Windows Update, it leads me to a blankpage. When I try
to access the Windows Update Troubleshooter Page, I get a blank Microsoft
Windows Troubleshooter template page.
I have scoured the net and the message boards for tips and tricks, but have
not been successful in resolving my problem. I was hoping someone on this
board might have come across this and had some success fixing the problem.
Is anyone aware of a virus that might prevent Windows Update from working?
Thanks in advance for your help.
