Tom,
I see no popups for links, so perhaps we are talking at
cross-purposes.
(Unless you are talking about a link in an explorer bar as you get if
you press the Favorites button)
I wish you had given me an URL for an example of the third. I don't
use that quirky web interface you are using, so "this page" means
nothing to me in a proper newsreader. OK, I have navigated to the
newsgroup in the web interface. I don't see descriptive popups in one
computer but I do in the next, so it may be dependent on your
operating system. It does not appear to be a function of IE.
