No one knows yet, keep the page bookmarked as that is where you will find
out info on IE7 as it's released. At least it's official info.

What was the timeframe for DVD's? If I recall correctly, Roxio is the coder
behind it and DVD burners were in a state of confusion and I don't think.
Roxio had DVD capability in their software at the time.
Should it have been added? I would guess that would be within the licensing
agreement with Roxio.
