How to make a good newsgroup post:
http://www.dts-l.org/goodpost.htm

I am using Windows XP and IE6. For some reason IE is checking the box
under Tools > Internet options > Connections > LAN settings > Use
Proxy server. When this happens I lose my cable Internet connection. I
have a blank address for the proxy server and never used one. If I
uncheck the box > OK > OK and close IE and reopen it, then the
Internet connection works fine. However, after a day or two I find
that the problem re-occurs. I cannot relate the problerm to any of my
actions on my computer and I had no such problem until about a month
ago.

Please help.

Carlos
