Check both checkboxes "Use HTTP 1.1" and "Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy
connections". I've notice that there is some type of bug in IE when
only selecting one of these items. I notice it after my posting.
However, when both checboxes are checked "Use HTTP 1.1" and "Use HTTP
1.1 through proxy connections" the accept-encoding is set accordingly
(accept-encoding is set to "gzip, deflate"). To verify my findings, go
and download IEWatch 2.1 (http://www.IEwatch.com). It will show that the
accept-encoding is set to "gzip, deflate".
