Thanks for your suggestion which I have tried. I have 3 computers (two home
plus office laptop) and every time they reboot the setting is reset from
'Never Dial' to 'Dial only when no connection ... ' The systems are clean
(AdAware, Spybot, MS Spyware), Norton AV (on two of the machines) has
Autoprotect turned off. The setting remains for as long as the PC is up but
is reset on reboot. Running XP SP2 but believe SP1 was the same. Any ideas
?? I was hoping to force this in the Registry but do not know which key
controls this.
