Re: IE Unable to Block Popups anymore

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry



I tried following the steps, but I still got the "your current version of IE
is newer, setup will cancel" message. I did the steps as followed.

1. Go to registry and set IsInstalled to 0(false)
2. Downloaded the most recent IE(which is SP1 according to the link)
3. Ran the file: iesetup6.exe
4. Error message says I can't install.

:) Thanks for your help, and hope you can figure out how to fix this.
Hopefully repairing my IE will fix this problem.
