Re: Ie remember windows size

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Open a new window from a link that launches one. **Close all previous IE windows.** Do not click the Maximize button. Drag the edges to resize the IE window open as large as you want, then while holding SHIFT down, close the window by the "x". This should maintain the new window size between sessions.

Or you could try this little freeware utility:

Autosizer

In 98se and IE 6 you coulld just drag the window the size you want and
close it and it would remmeber the size. I've tried it in XP with IE 6 and it
won't work.

I searched and only found ways to make it maximized.

I tried the shift close. Alt close. Ctrl close. File-->close and all the
different combiantions.

What I would like is when I shift click a link that it open a certain size
"not maximized" which is small like 300x300 or whatever.

Any help would be great. If you need more info let me know.
