Hi Jan,
I am also having this problem with red x's in place of images. I have
tried everything you listed, also... I checked out the other website tips,
tried all of Microsoft's tips, java tests are good and still no luck. I am
running IE 6 sp1 with Windows98. I also have a Linksys router that I connect
through, along with an xp pc, which runs the browser perfectly. I just
recently completely restored my computer and installed my ISP software
(SBCyahoo!) which uses IE, so I am unable to go back to a previous version of
IE. I tried having IE "fix" any problems and when that didn't help, I
uninstalled/reinstalled the browser. I don't yet have antivirus or firewall
up and running, so that rules them out. This is very frustrating, I hope you
or someone else can help.
Thanks a bunch for reading my post! ;O)
