Hi mickey254 :-)

Someone else here may have a much better idea, but, in the mean time, your
User Favorites folder may have become corrupted or damaged with the
reconfiguration, or perhaps a link has become corrupted, so you might try
the following and see if it helps.

Create a new Favorites folder as per the instructions here
http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/answers3.htm#favorites

Now, if you want to lose all your Favorites, you can try the follow:

Go to Windows Explorer and find your User Favorites folder. Open it and
copy all the files there. Create a new backup folder called Favorites-Old,
or something like that. Then paste all the Favorites in that folder. Then
follow the instructions above to create the new Favorites folder. Then see
if the problem still exists. If the problem seems to be resolved, then copy
a few of the Favorites at a time from the old folder to the new one, testing
after each transfer to see if the problem returns. If so, then you know you
have some bad links, so go back to before the last transfer and remove them
one at a time, checking after each, until the problem is no longer there.
Then continue with the rest of the links in the same manner. Unless you
have a bazillion links in the Favorites, it will take only a short time.

Hope this helps

Jan :)
