I have had this same error, I'm using broad band as well. For some strage
reason while I'm looking at a site I get the same message you recieved, and
all I was doing was just reading the papper. So I sent the error report
several times to Microsoft, they always just prompted me with "we do not have
a solution at this time, we recomend you upgrade to XP SP2" So I did, and
have not had any problem scince. I usally right click on the bottom task bar
and select close when closing out an application. When you hit the "Red X" on
the right had coner it is calling a subroutine to perform the same task I
descibed above. I just perfer the manual verses automatic "Red X" close
button.
