Try the following information and see if it helps:
Cannot view Source
Make sure notepad.exe is in ..\windows and that it is not a third party
version. Also, if you have a shortcut to Notepad on your desktop rename it
to Npad.
Search your registry for the DWORD noviewsource. If that exists, delete it
or set it to 0.
