Is there a way to remove IE or is it so embedded in Windows it's impossible?
Mine is infested with some spyware that no spyware killer or anti-virus can
root out. I could just use Firefox instead (which I do anyway while IE is
infected), but I figure that maybe there is a way to uninstall and re-install
IE, to remove whatever wrote itself into the IE code or registry keys that
keeps pulling up unwated sites and downloading trojans.
