Although I´ve removed the Kill-bit properly and installed Flash Player 7
(again) there is no sign of the ActiveX Controls in the 2 Add-on manager
lists of IE (so no Flash Player nor Shockwave Player) in fact none of the
ActiveX controls originate from Macromedia.....
Also there´s still the errorcode 0x8002009 after I tried to do this: in
Start>Run dialog:
C:/Windows/System32//Macromed/Flash/Flash.ocx. (a suggestion of Macromedia
support....)
The result was an error report: DllRegisterServer in
C:/Windows/System32/Macromed/Flash/Flash.ocx failed, plus aforementioned
errorcode.
Any idea where I can look for the meaning of this errorcode? There most be a
list of codes somewhere, or......??
