Hi LARK :-)

> I have the same problem. Have you found a way to remove and reinstall IE?

First, you can not uninstall IE in Windows XP. It is a core part of the
Windows XP operating system, and it *can not* be uninstalled, only repaired
or reinstalled over itself. There are specific methods for repairing and
reinstalling IE in Windows XP, and these must be done carefully to avoid
damaging the system.

Second, if indeed you have the same problem as RJH, then it is also likely
due to scumware on your system and you need to follow the suggestions I
provided for him as well to see if it helps with your problem.

Reinstalling or repairing IE will not remove any scumware from your system,
thus, it is best to run the removal process to be sure that is not the
contributing element. If not then you can safely proceed with the other
steps.

If these steps do not resolve your problem, please post back to this thread
with the details and any error messages.

Hope this helps

Jan :)
