Okay, weird problem here. On two of our systems, we cannot simply type the
URL such as "www.microsoft.com". We actually have to type an "http://"
prefix. If we just type "www.microsoft.com" then basically nothing happens
when we hit [Enter] or the ->Go button.

I've already checked the
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\URL\Prefixes section, and
those appear to be okay (they show [among other things] an entry for "www" =
REG_SZ http://

We've also done spyware/adware scans with latest updates to PestPatrol, and
also HijackThis and CWShredder--system appears to be clean.

Happening on two different systems, both XP Home SP2. Any other ideas?
